Meet Vila Widuch

Born in the USA, growing up in Thousand Oaks, near Malibu in California, Vila is no stranger to the world of glamour. She graduated from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and worked in the Television and Film industry for the next seven years, in collaboration with some of the industry’s finest Directors and Directors of Photography, including Academy-Award-winner Allen Daviau, John Toll, and Danny Ducovney of Cucoloris Films. Not finding the fulfilment that this success promised, however, she made a major change into the world of Natural Foods and Healing Arts by studying a variety of alternative therapies, while working as Marketing and Events’ Specialist for Whole Foods Market. At the same time, she held the leadership position of President of the California Vegetarian Association. She is the developer and co-creator of the WFM Environmental Shopping Tours, and made her first trip to Bali in the hope of facilitating holistic retreat workshops for her clients. This initiative led her, in 1998, to pioneer and establish one of the first websites on the internet, which specialises in the management of private luxury villa rentals.

Vila’s unrivalled wealth of experience in areas such as interior design, the healing arts, the luxury service industry, marketing and event specialist combined with her 12 year acquired personal knowledge of the Balinese culture, together with the island’s optimum experiences ranging from sightseeing and outdoor adventures, to lavish spa treatments, fine dining, and the very best places to go shopping, is likely to provide you with an experience of your dreams, or it might even change the way you dream!

Bali Wedding Experience June 4, 2010

" Nani, Wishnu, Vila Widuch and the entire Bali-Experience wedding team were the answer to my prayers for a dream stress free wedding.  I never doubted my decision in choosing them.  From the start their helpfullness, ideas and advice were priceless.  The entire team came together to create a magical day for us.  Everything was just perfect and the fact I didn't do anything including getting ready until an hour before the wedding started was proof that the entire event was flawless.  I would like to thank everyone who worked on our wedding and want them to know that they are forever in our hearts.  My only criticism is that the day ended too soon.  Thank you a million times over.  Love Matthew and Elizabeth Kilgallon"

Our Perfect Wedding Day!

“For our wedding gift Vila Widuch gave us a rain-stopping ceremony, I have to say that Ed and I were sceptical, but Vila shared the details of the ritual which takes place on several occasions and involves all of her team, praying to the Gods. The week leading up to our big day on the 24th July, 2009 was really unsettled weather-wise, it was overcast with frequent, heavy, downpours. We kept trying to avoid looking at the weather report which had predicted rain. When we woke up on the actual wedding day the heavens opened, and I mean monsoon style downpour and then out of nowhere, the sky turned brilliant blue. I have to say it was incredible, neither of us could believe it, the weather was absolutely PERFECT and it was by far the best wedding gift, the sun was beaming down, turning the water turquoise and making the gardens and flowers look like paradise ! Thanks to Vila and her team, not sure what they did but we were thrilled, and the next day at our pool party the weather was amazing, breaking back to cloud and rain after our event – freaky!”

Rain Stoppers

A week out from our wedding and it was raining every day. Vila Widuch suggested we get a traditional rainstopper but I thought that was pretty out there. As the wedding day came closer, it continued to rain each day right around the same time as our ceremony would be. Finally, the night before our wedding at our rehearsal (it was bucketing down) Vila told us she’d organized for a rainstopper because she wanted our day to go well. Our wedding day arrived and it did not rain at all from the start of the day until the end of the party at 4am. It was the best day of our lives. The next day we awoke and sure enough it was raining again but we had our special memories of our wonderful day. Rainstoppers…..I still think it’s out there….but sure seemed to work for us. A real Bali-Experience November 2008
